About Us

Graduate Women in Science (GWIS) aims to empower women in sciences at all levels of their professional development by providing a space for female-identifying scientists to network and share their passions and issues. We provide opportunities for career development and connect graduate students from across scientific disciplines. With the establishment of our chapter in 2023, we encourage leadership and provide opportunities for mentorship and networking, collaboration with other campus groups, and engage in the broader Columbus community.
